You look tasty
Saracyn

Avacyn had just begun to believe that it was nothing as well and turned her attention forward at the same time as Saracyn—only to be met face to face with something that she could loosely call a wolf. She jumped back with a gasp, but managed to keep herself on her paws while Saracyn stumbled back. He was scraggly with patches missing from his fur, his fangs yellowed and eyes crazed. She had never seen a wolf look anything like this before and she just stared at him aghast as he called back to some others that were deeper in the tunnel behind them, calling them a meal delivery. The laughter and growls echoing behind them was unsettling and it made her skin crawl.
Saracyn returned to her side and she kept close to him, a snarl pulling at her own lips as well as they tried to intimidate the tall, lanky wolf to get out of their way. That clearly wasn't working as the disgusting wolf called them tasty and invited them to stay for dinner where she was almost certain he was implying that they would be on the menu. She wasn't any more willing to put up with this creepy nonsense any more than Saracyn was, but he made the first move, landing on the wolf that had stopped them with very clear and violent intentions. She didn't get much of a chance to see how that fight went though because as soon as Saracyn made contact with the wolf-like creature and his buddies caught on they all swarmed out of the darkness toward them. She reached for the one closest to her as a few of them appeared around her and she hooked her claws into the side of their neck, pulling them toward her and dodging their snapping jaws to clamp her own jaws around the side of their face, pulling screams from the wolf as she bit down around their eyes and jaw.
One of the others landed on her, clearly trying to save their friend, and she felt their teeth in her scruff, making her snarl in response. She shook her head to do more damage to the one she had a hold on before she let them go, letting them fall to the cave floor and seeing them scamper away into the darkness. The one that was on her was pretty light luckily so it didn't impede her movement much and she was able to twist around, throwing herself into the stone wall with the wolf now sandwiched between her and the stone. With the hard scales that capped her shoulders slamming into their ribs and making them give way under the pressure she put on them, the wolf let go of her with a gasp, staggering back as she stepped away from the wall of the tunnel again.
