After her fight with Gossamer, the knowledge that her thorn wrappings were not protectively encasing her mutation was fresh in her mind. It seemed there were few wolves who would not go for the bait of trying to control her head, and the grab was something Zee was expecting - this time.

As Yaume's jaws came around one spiraled horn (the right one? I think that'd be the one she could reach), Zee ducked and then twisted her head abruptly over her left shoulder. Her hope was to take advantage of the moment before the wolf's jaws could find a secure purchase upon the twisted keratin, aiming to twist it out of the dire wolf's mouth and hopefully manage a slice on the inside of her cheeks as it did so.

The movement also served to dodge the brunt of the dangerous tiger claws upon her face, though the change in the positioning of her neck redirected the painful hit to slash instead across her neck nearer to her spine.
