Perhaps her thick coat of being of northern breeding had fooled him into thinking she was a wolf. It has happened before. It certainly worked to her advantage but she would never seek to outright lie to anyone about he heritage. She wasn't ashamed of what she was despite what trouble it might cause her sometimes. Why should she be ashamed? Coyotes were just as diverse with their moral compass as wolves were. Some were sneaky and conniving and some weren't. She fell into the latter category. Arsinoe took pride in being able to do for herself. She didn't have to take from another in order to get ahead.
"Trap?" Pig, she knew but trap was a new thing for her. She had never used any sort of trickery when hunting. She did that whole run down and hope for the best sort of thing. You know, just your standard hunting methods. Before they had gotten separated Arkin had always been her hunting partner. Now she had to depend solely upon herself for all of her meals. Though this guy was offering to share the catch with her. Of course there was the addendum that she had to help in order to be able to take a share.
"Help how? I do not know this trap." You want a runner, she was your girl. Small prey? Leap attacks were easy peasy. But traps? That was entirely foreign territory.
