Come Together

Ysmir had only been in the Hallows for a few days when Gwyn volunteered him for the hunting trip into the wildberry grove. It was explained to him that the pack was attempting to expand in this direction, and they were here to prove it could provide for the pack. He didn’t know the other wolves he was running with, nor could he speak with them, but the lovely lady he had fallen for believed him worthy so he would do what he could to prove her correct. He held his dark features high, and his silver plated paws carried him in near silence as he brought up the rear of the group.

He had his concerns about their plan, if the tapir really was as swift and cunning as it was described then giving chase should have been their last option. As one wolf mentioned, it could very easily hide itself into the foliage. He couldn’t say anything and he wouldn’t have anyway. Ysmir was too new to say anything contrary, and it was better to have faith in his pack members than indulge in preconceived notions.

The young Viking gave a quick nod of his head in acceptance, his paws would follow the leader and do as he was bid.
