Come Together

Rudy certainly understood the idea of everyone working together to take it down but as Fern grabbed a back leg the motley wolf saw a different way to help the group get it down.  Fern’s bite had certainly slowed it and harmed balance.  Rudy picked up a short sprint to catch up to be next to the front of the animal, biting at the part of the body that controlled everything else it did, the head.  Rudyard’s teeth sunk into the higher-up part of its strange snout.  The animal squealed and cried out.  It would have been able o break his grip assuredly without Fern also on it but now it had problems on the front and behind.  Rudyard’s legs braced to the ground, occasionally moving a bit as the powerful muscles in the creature tried to swing its head about.  

Certainly, this would only last so long but Fern and Rudy were hardly alone, this didn’t have to last long at all.  A bit of inner amusement as Rudy heard Reddy call out from higher up in the sky.  Not alone at all, not only did they have two other wolves with them but a hunter of the air who would be happy to do his party despite the prey size in comparison to him.
