"Talk" Walk

Winter was nearing its end, and with it, the prey was starting to come back out as Spring was right around the corner. His companions had gone off to scout the area and see what was lingering around, but Ignis had his sights set on the tracks of an old whitetail that appeared to have a limp. He followed alongside the river, the tracks on the river bank seemed to be no more than an hour or two old. The scent was still fresh in the air, mingled with the algae scent that clung to the bank. What interested him more, was the tracks looked uneven. It appeared that the whitetail he was tracking had an injury of some sort. Definitely a limp from what he could tell. There was no fresh blood, so it was likely an older injury from a rival buck...whatever the case, deer steaks were on the menu for lunch.
