He started moving in the direction where the buck had gone, and he didn't even have to go very far before he heard the familiar sound of thudding hooves pounding unevenly across the ground. His eyes snapped up and he saw the buck coming toward him. With a snarl, he readied himself for a brawl between him and those antlers. His cockatoo companion swooped down and started harassing the buck as it ran, beating his wings in the bucks face in an effort to distract it...and it was working. Bellowing from surprise, frustration, and hindered by the damage it seemed to have on its face, Ignis took the opportunity to run up on it and lunged for a foreleg. He grabbed on and violently shook his head until he heard the telltale sound of the leg breaking, which in turn, easily brought the buck to its knees.

From there, killing it would be easy as pie. His wolverine ran up and locked its jaws around its windpipe, suffocating it. Whatever had spooked it towards him, well...he supposed he owed them one, now, didn't he?
