An Elephant Never Forgets

Corbie glanced up as a pair of quiet young men popped up asking to join her. "Please, feel free. Yes, he is rather magnificent. It's a pity that he got himself stuck up here to starve." She sighed regretfully, but life was not always kind to its creatures. It was what it was. She was about to answer the second, brighter colored wolf's question when a second pair, this time a nearly-but-not-quite matching set of females, popped in rather more boisterously. Not loudly, but just more... physically exuberant in the manner. The older one asked the same question, so she answered both at once. "It's an elephant," she told them both. "They usually live far in the south, past the land bridge on the other continent. It is nearly unheard of for one to be this far north. You can see why."
Another face appeared, this one more familiar, and she couldn't help but grin back at Ignis. Hunt the elephant? She looked back at it more speculatively. She had inadvertently managed to gather a group large enough to consider it. That elephant though - she knew that traditional hunting methods wouldn't work on it, with it being so tall and so thick skinned. But there was one way...
"If we get it running instead of standing to fight," she said slowly, "We could get it moving too quickly towards a part of the ravine that they couldn't see it, so it couldn't stop in time..." And then it would fall, dying without them needing to actually get through that skin, and putting it out of the misery of a long slow death by starvation and freezing.

unless otherwise stated, Corbie's kinkajou companion is with her at all times
