A scent hit the air, and my ears stood up; my eyes narrowed and my white teeth showed themselves beneath their black cage. Another pack wolf, stumbling across this land for someone to claim, someone to force into their too large, too noisy pack. Well, if he wanted me, then he'd have to keep looking; I would not join a pack, unless I absolutely needed to. But then, doubt crept into my mind, eating away at the stubbornness. Maybe I could meet him, see how he was; and if he was not the right pack one.... I stood up, turned around, and started towards him, warily, to see if he would attack. I kinda hoped he would; until I saw him, his face, his eyes. I had never been one to be a flirt, maybe a little....at times, but not like this. I moved towards him, brushed against him slightly, then turned around and went to face him. I sat down, and began to speak, trying to choose my words carefully. But it didn't work, not at all. What's a brute like you doing in a place like this? After all, this water's so cold and you're so...... {Ugh sucky post sorry} Talk like this |
