With a now one year of age, he felt old enough to leave the island on his own, even if it was to their other claimed land. He was quick to catch the scene, finding the king going after a lion. Again? He could remember the one he and Strix had chased out there in the island. Eyes hardened as he stared at the lion who aimed to attack his sire.

Using the feline's distraction as quiet as the last time, he aimed to sneak behind the offending lion. Attempting to slipp at it's rear. And quickly and with a lot of force he opened his jaws and attempted to bit as hard as he could on the base of it base, aiming to both cause pain and steal it's attention away from his dad, wanting to give the late the room to attack.
