The crotchety old wolf had crossed into the plains in search of her brother but he was nowhere to be found. They must have moved already. She'd helped him knock down the cottage but had left soon after. Now that she was back around this way, she'd sought him out. Waste of time, it seemed. Oh, or maybe not. The sound of voices caught the small fae's ears and she moved towards them.

During the storm, Iolaire had holed up in a thick tree. The aftermath had tamped down a lot of the tall grass and Io could easily see the group of wolves yammering and standing around something. Coming closer, she recognized Kotori and she recognized Artorias of course. "Oh look, a party," she croaked as she came upon them. The fae's two-toned eyes fell upon the unconscious girl and her brow furrowed. The woman smacked at the ones trying to move her and drew in close. Delicate, dexterous digits gently manipulated the various bones of the girl to make sure that they weren't broken. Moving her before figuring that out could damage the child irreparably. "Bring her up here," she indicated a rise in the terrain beneath a tree that would keep them out of the water and would also provide a bit of shelter.

"What happened?" She didn't look at anyone as she worked. Instead she focused on the child whos scent was familiar, but she hadn't met them before. Or had she? Things were muddled sometimes even though she was no longer dead. Digging around in her pack, Io brought out a few different herbs and began mashing things up to place them over the abrasions that seemed to be on one side of the girl's body. Only once the wounds were cleaned and tended to did Iolaire gently try to wake the child.
