I Really Think It's Better This Way

It had been sometime since Duchess had left abruptly at the festival. She had done the events and spent most of her time trying to get Indigo's eyes onto her with Noir, and when the moment came she wasn't as cutthroat as she may have felt when she was away from him. When she faced Indigo, it touched down into her heart and she shared what Ricin meant to her. She wanted to make amends somehow but... at least now that was seeming impossible. She would probably always want more of Indigo, so just wanting to make things okay between them probably wouldn't be doable. And with Aslatiel's threats it would deter her from doing or even thinking so.

She came back close to Elysium and called for Ricin very simply just to see him and spend time with him. Noir went out on his own sometimes too so she didn't feel strange doing so. She'd wait patiently outside the borders, eager to see him again since the festival. Maybe they could take a walk and go explore some too.
