He hoped the latter, as the ivory would make for great trade items and if he got in on the hunt maybe he could negotiate for some of it. He made his way over to them. "Hello," he said quietly. "Are you considering hunting this thing? Would you mind if I joined you?" He recognized only one of the other wolves, that one being from the neighboring pack and a friend of his daughter's.
