Fight me, FIGHT ME!

Beau was… caught off-guard once again here on the battlefield. Laughter split the air and language of the vulgar sort reached his ears. It didn’t take a genius to realize that he had stumbled across someone far less kind than Wren had been.

As the other male threw himself forward Beauregard swiftly drew his blade. He could hear Trill’s calls angrily in the air above him, knowing that she was less than pleased by whoever this was. The ashen male could feel his heart flutter with anxiety in his chest; just how much trouble was he in right now? How dangerous was this male? It would all become clear soon enough.

With narrowed eyes and flattened ears, Beau hopped towards his opponent’s left, his right, and dipped his head downward. Shifting his head out, towards his right, Beau felt teeth clip across his cheek and tear through flesh. He gripped the blade in his teeth tighter, a guttural growl sounding from within him.

His opponent’s jab missed its initial mark as well thanks to Beau’s movement but that didn’t mean the yearling got away unscathed. Instead, that jab hit the front of his right shoulder before momentum carried it onward alongside it. It was definitely going to leave some nasty bruising.

With his weight having shifted in the hop to his own right side Beau pushed against the ground in an attempted bodily slam against his opponent’s left side with his own. Deciding that force would be necessary, he also swung his knife toward his opponent’s back left thigh in the front. At his current angle, it wouldn’t penetrate deep, but the slash might be enough to encourage the other male to keep some distance… hopefully?
