After finding the abandoned Abaven, he had planned on bringing it to the attention of some of the Alphas in his alliance. His son's call made that path somewhat obsolete. He and Wren hadn’t yet gone far from the Rapids, and he looked to Wren for a moment. A mixture of sadness and pride in his eyes. He couldn’t blame Kotori for taking his opportunity. He knew his son's desire to lead, and the preparations he had taken already to do so.

Making his way to the place his son had called from, Wren at his side, he would find the mass of wolves already gathered. His eyes scanned the crowd, and found Artorias and Manea (among others) already there. They along with Zee had gathered by Gossy, and he made his way towards them. He gave Zee’s paw one gentle pat, keeping himself from any other displays of affection to his Queen and nodded to Artorias and Manea. “Artorias, Manea, this is Wren” he Said, and then “Sorry to keep introductions short - have either of you heard from Theory?” he was keep a close eye out for any signs of her, and his daughter Callie. He couldn’t image if Theory still lived that she would have ignored this challenge.

It was then that Pyralis appeared beside the group and announced her intention to steal his daughter right from under him. He turned to the wolf who had harassed his Armada on more than one occasion. “Drop the pack and back off, I’ll only tell you once.”
