"Lo?" He called back almost immediately. Torben was not one to bully or get a jolly out of someone else being scared. The timid tremor of the woman's voice was enough for him to seek her out, make sure she was okay. He slowly made his way toward her, spotting the brunette. He forced a kind smile on his lips, even if it wasn't hard. The smile slipped from his features, and concern set in. "Sorry" he began "did I, ah, startle ye?" He really tried to move as one with nature, but even he could kick up dirt and rocks without meaning to. Torben stopped dead, refusing to come closer to the woman. She already seemed to be timid, and he was not going to press the issue of socializing with her. If she did not want company... Well, he could continue on. |
