Distance morals, confused toils

Wolves were strange things. No socialization skills to speak of in these parts, it seemed. The feline, though massive, hadn't appeared threatening in the slightest. If she'd meant the dogs harm, the whole world would have known it. Had the pair of canines known how many times something with teeth had tried to eat the little donkey, they may have been more understanding to Taiga's speedy arrival.
The fat wolf was a spaz and snapped like it had rabies or something. Taiga scoffed as it left the metal structure. Did it not realize that she could murder it with one good swipe? Not that she would. Taiga was a nice kitty. As nice as a gargantuan carnivore could be, anyway. The snow and charcoal cat's ruby gaze met that of the little donkey and she shoot her head, brows raising in disbelief.
To make matters even more strange, the second wolf muttered something in a foreign tongue and Taiga sneered at her, lips pulling back from curved canines as her tail began to lash back and forth. One didn't need to know a language with a tone like that. The intent was clear. Once that one pushed past them, Taiga scoffed again. "Must be something in the water," the woman spoke, giving the agitated donkey a friendly lick to the top of his head before they headed on home.
Taiga is a Panthera Spelaea- a Cave Lion.
She stands 63" at the shoulder and weighs a whopping 700 lbs.
