Her bite landed exactly how it wanted to, though in a position like this there was little room to error. Caught in a strange yin and yang, March was curious about how this stalemate would be broken. It was clear neither wolf would break away on their own, the threat of teeth tearing away at flesh keeping them intertwined.
Her question was answered with the shifting of weight from her opponent, and with one movement he had knocked her to the ground, a second panicked snap of her jaws taking some of his fluff with her as she toppled over. She hit the floor with an oof , wriggling under his weight, before realising this was futile, and instead glaring at the pale, speckled, deer-tailed rump dangerously close to her face. She spat out the fluff in her mouth, not gracing this boy with a word of praise or acknowledgment. No mortal, and especially one that was sitting on her, could earn that right.
