Fighting Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have... Right?

Strix has been neglectful in forging a meaningful relationship with all of his siblings and today is trying to remedy that. The small boy had sought out his older sister and invited her along on a ‘patrol’ of Cedar Falls. Are the yearlings supposed to be out patrolling the newly added land? Maybe not but he had spied some predators that needed driving out the land the last time he had gone exploring with his brother, Morendo. Luckily, his willowy sister agrees to go on an adventure and the pair had struck out across the ferry.

Now, as they slowly walk through the land, Strix fills his sister in on the plan, “Okay. Last time Ren and I were here, I found signs of a pack of wild dogs. What do you say we teach them a lesson? Maybe kill a couple and chase the rest off?” He flashes her an eager grin before lifting his head to scent the air, paws move to adjust their course and intercept their targets. They stay downwind, moving until the pack comes into view. Mismatched eyes glance at his sister and he flashes her a smile before moving to attack.

Strix runs around the right side of the pack, giving them a wide berth until he is on their flank. They are lazily lounging in a patch of sun, drying their fur from the recent rain fall. He changes direction, charging the dog closest to him and swiftly darts in to deliver a bite to the unsuspecting dog’s face. Growls and snarls fill the air as he races away, the mangy mutts slowly stirring into action as the attacked dog whimpers in pain.
