"Nobody is asking you to be a saint" Eden said quietly, voice still hoarse from her yelling and screaming and demanding "I'm not asking you to be anything; I'm not asking to help you" She refused to drop her gaze from his red ones "I have accepted you for who you are" But he hadn't accepted himself, that much was clear "you don't want to talk to me. Or anything. About this." She bit back a sigh.

It was her fault. She was the stupid one. The one trying to identify with her captor. Trying to understand the Ignis side to him. She knew... she knew in her heart he wasn't as bad as he claimed. That Ignis had some good. Some speck. Some tiny little speck. But the Crimson Demon? No. She knew she was pushing him toward that personality again. She had wanted a rise but not to face that monster again. "It's true; you haven't hurt me."

She paused but not for long. "You haven't even forced yourself on me, which I know you can easily do. That's how I know you have some good in you. You aren't... you aren't a monster. Not really. A saint, no, but nobody is perfect. Least of all me. I poked and prodded you, but all you did was yell back" She rose from her position and approached him. She felt her legs shaking from the effort, the anger wearing off. Her strength wearing off. Now she was left with nothing "a-and even if I'm scared of that side... I know I'm not scared of you."
