Its in the trees

Kotori had likewise spotted the injury and nodded in silent assent to the woman.  He could see several ways for the hunt to play out and was deciding which was best to go with this time. “All right,” he spoke after deciding on the newest test, “This time I’m going wide and behind it.  You stay near the tree,” pointing to a larger one wrapped about with numerous old thick vines, “and I’m going to bring it right to you.”

Kotori quietly slipped away from her, looking to disappear for a bit until he got into a good spot to get behind the elk, waiting in case it took time for Tove to get into position without spooking the deer herself.  He was starting to get a well-rounded idea of Tove’s hunting abilities.
