During his loping approach up the volcano's slope, he saw a streak of ivory and obsidian headed straight for him. His smile widened as he quickly pivoted on his haunches to be directly facing the youngster. Thankfully he had been smart enough to adorn his own armor before they made their way here. Bracing for impact as the cow-spotted boy began leaping at him, Gil put on the brakes and let rocks scatter in front of him. Tucking his chin toward his chest, he felt the boy latch onto the back of his neck with legs flailing toward him. Letting out a loud grunt, Gil twisted until he was parallel with the boy, effectively avoiding the daggered bracers, and began turning his head through the searing pain so he could reach out to try and grab ahold of the boy's chest with his elongated fangs.
