Pyralis was far more interested in seeing the fiery heart of the volcano than she was in rock collecting so by the time she caught up with the rest of the band (darn injury!) she loped across the border and started climbing as high as she could. It didn't take long for Habari to note the intruders and the warriors flocked toward the pirates. So far she'd managed to escape notice but she knew it wouldn't last for long. She trusted her hawk, Alkali, to alert her to whoever would attack her. Pyralis was eager for an opponent despite her seeming aloofness. This wouls more than likely be the last raid of her life.
