It had been too long since he raced. It felt childish, but also not. Torben walked to the starting line, side glancing at Audra. It was good to see her again, and in better spirits than last time. "Don't go easy on me, now." He would joke with her, gesturing with one paw to his massive size. It was clear he wasn't expecting to win, though it would be welcomed regardless. "Ready" he crouched down "steady" thankfully there were clouds in the sky to cover him from the harmful rays "go!" Torben lunged forward, trying to will himself into speed over strength. Audra would no doubt overtake him if he couldn't be bothered. But for once, he laughed and let himself have fun. The wind through his fur felt amazing. No more chill, even if he was used to it. Spring had truly sprung. |
