“Lava Rocks” but sung to the tune of Thunderstruck

Habari hadn't been given any warning about this raid, but then again it was entirely likely that word had passed through and Veigar simply hadn't been paying attention. He'd been relatively reclusive these days, avoiding regular contact with others - at least to the best of his ability - as his sight deteriorated further and further. What he'd once hoped was something temporary now he had no doubt was a permanent issue. Maybe he should've sought out help for it before, from one of the pack's healers, but deep down he knew whatever affliction he was suffering from could not be cured. It felt more like a curse than an illness, and he knew in his heart there was no cure.

Today though he had to do his best to forget about his failing vision and focus on the impending attack. By the time he made his way across the territory, quite a few of his packmates had already arrived, beginning to square off with the wolves that had appeared at their borders. It took an embarrassingly long time for his eyes to struggle to focus, finding it difficult to see beyond vague shapes and blurs now. One of the brightest wolves, Hyacinth, caught his attention and he didn't hesitate to charge the stranger once he zeroed in on them. There was little in the way of defense in his posture as he charged, jaw unhinged and teeth bared, all rage and fury as he barrelled straight toward Hyacinth and aimed to throw his limbs around the much taller male's neck.
