Healing or causing wounds today

Tove was the first wolf to agree to join his future pack who was not part of his own bloodline.  However, she was brave and competent and was proving able to both hunt and fight.  She certainly didn’t talk too much or say things that would embarrass them considering she hardly spoke.  As he watched her go for the bear's face Kotori was fairly confident she would be a good member of the pack.

She wasn’t going to get all the fun here though.  Kotori leaped up to grab the bear's ear,  ripping it.  The ear didn’t completely get torn off but it hung, swaying with blood flowing.   It admittedly wouldn’t damage the bear in a way to hurt its fighting ability much but the injury was a good way to increase its rage and make.

The bear twisted its body about to aim a bulky paw at Kotori but his angle didn’t give him enough reach to get close to Kotori as he moved towards its rear.  Kotori sank his teeth into a back leg.  The bear couldn’t focus on both him and Keahi.  The large beast had decisions to make but it wouldn’t matter as it would die either way.
