It was too late to stop.

Her mind was too far gone, too loud, desperate to stop, to make it stop. She was slipping, further and further down, to the point she didn’t even know herself anymore. The woman called her name, but Bells didn’t respond. She was out of it. She was gone. The wolf she was in that moment and the wolf that the green-marked woman called for was not the same. Her mind as whirling, and she didn’t stop. She wasn’t even able to process what was going on. Her mind and body had switched to autopilot and she was holding on for the ride come what may.

The woman begged her to stop, but the most that came of it was Bellamy faltering. She slowed but still came. Some small part of herself could still make out the woman’s pregnancy. She fought within herself for what was right. What she should do and what she shouldn’t. Any other time before today Bellamy would have been appalled with what she was doing. The only sign that the actual Bellamy was still there was the evidence of the tears that ran down her face. Deep within she didn’t want this.

But she was weak.

She couldn’t fight herself anymore.

Then, suddenly, a wolf was between them.

Bellamy skidded to a stop, her narrowed eyes focusing on the red and black-furred individual that had placed himself between her and the woman. Her nostrils flared, more of those tears slipping down her cheeks. He was… wait…

This was…

“Ignis.” She had never interacted with him much… but truthfully during her time in Winterfell, she hadn’t interacted with a majority of the pack. But did she know of him? Of course she did. She had made a promise before not to go after the man… despite his transgressions against Acere and the first and only pack to give her a chance. Something… shifted within Bellamy at that moment. Going after the woman was forgotten as her stance shifted, fangs barred, as she hissed out her next words.

“Some nerve you have,” She spat. “Defending someone when you fought to uproot and destroy something that was never yours.” She had never thought they’d come into contact again.

Fate was… a funny thing.

“Or do you lay claim to this woman like you laid claim to Winterfell? By taking her?” Her words were harsh, egging him on. Her hurt, her own pain, was causing her to lash out at what could have been one of the worst wolves to do so. Her tail flicked back and forth angrily. She didn’t want to wait for answers. She didn’t care. Her body screamed for battle, to cause pain and feel pain.

Bellamy ripped her blade from the sheath on her foreleg.

Fight.

Bellamy lunged forward again, directly at Ignis with the knife in her maw. She didn’t try to pivot, slam, anything. She wasn’t logical, fighting with even less care or attempt at accuracy than she normally did. She came head-on, no slam, just the sharp edge of the bone blade coming for the top of Ignis’ muzzle below his existing scars with the intent to dig in and cut across the opposite side of his face under his eye. She had hoped to go for the eye initially, but with the man being taller than she was the woman miscalculated the intended location of her strike.

"Talk, 'Think.'
