VALERIUS ADRAVENDI

AGE: 6 YEARS

PERSONALITY:

One of the first words one can use to describe Valerius is good. He?s friendly to most that he meets, trusting, and warm. Loyalty with him seems to be easily bought. On the surface he seems relatively simple, but a fierce drive of ambition surges him forward in life. He wants to have his own pack some-day. His own home, a safe-haven. As a leader, he is amicable. Quick to make resolutions and keep the peace, he isn?t particularly fond of conflict, but that shouldn?t be mistaken as an un-willingness to fight. He has a strong desire to find out who is father is, and more about his past. He?s always questioning it, and recalling everything his mother once told him about his father?s world.

Fear isn?t an emotion he?s very familiar with, that doesn?t mean he doesn?t have fears, but he?s not the type to climb up a tree because he?s terrified of a mouse. He fights through fear, compartmentalizing it, shutting it down to do what has to be done. He?s the epitome of a perfect solider, and the chivalrous male. Innocent to heart-break, he has never felt the warm surge of love for another though he yearns for it. He often wonders if he?ll ever live up to the expectations that others have for him, and he tries giving everything his all. He as a clear sense of right and wrong, and is quick to do what is right. However, he sees the world in black and white, and when situations seem to be a shade of grey, he can become confused, and unsure of what he should do. This is possibly his fatal flaw, rather than making a decision he freezes, weighing both sides against each other instead of just following his instincts and doing what feels right in his heart.

He doesn?t dwell on things, and often lets his more pragmatic side take over when it comes to getting jobs done. He?s driven, ambitious. He?ll always strive to be the best, but that doesn?t mean that he?s willing to run over others to get what he wants. Ultimately, he?s a good guy, a conflicted creature sometimes, always questioning life, but good none the less. He?s extroverted, willing to engage in conversation first with others, and always willing to go out of his comfort zone to speak with strangers.

His siblings, are his best friends. The loyalty he feels to them is unbreakable, they've been their his whole life. Without one of them, he wouldn't feel complete, and always goes to at least one of them asking their opinions on difficult decisions. They had left their mother as a unit, and as a unit they would find their father's lands and he would find out who the other half of his life.

POST SAMPLE:

The cold winds buffeted his fur, ripping through the thick brown and tan colours, biting into his flesh. Winter was in full fledge here and though he had thus far seen very little of the lands he and his siblings were now in, he was impressed. The land, even in the dead of winter was teeming with life, a good home. They had come here, not on a mission, but on a search of the heart to figure out who their father was. Alice, their mother had told them little about them, and they didn?t have much to go on other than a name. Cairo Adravendi, and the faint scent of wolves in the volcanic ash ridden land, and the trail that had led them to the wonderful lands before them.

He took a deep breath, glancing around with light blue eyes, looking at each of his siblings in turn, making sure they thus far were as secure in their mission as he felt. This was what they had to do. A itching sensation to run filled his stomach, and he stepped out away from his siblings, and propelled himself forward, his body cutting through the land ahead of his siblings, enjoying the feeling of the wind ripping in his face, the way his bodice cut so precisely through the land. He would never be able to explain the joy that simply running, and feeling his muscles contract and relax brought him, but it was sometimes one of the most relaxing things in the world. As he ran, he let his mind wander, to who he would meet, and what he would learn of his father.

He assumed his father still lived, and was eager to arrive in the lands that his father had procured for his pack. His mother had told them so little, but that little had been something that he clung to, the idea? so amazing. His eyes widened slightly as he came to the top of a hill, skidding to a halt, snow billowing and dusting up around him. Stopping here, he could look down, seeing more of the splendor of the lands before him, and a feeling of excitement rushed through him as his tail dusted the ground behind him, wagging quickly in excitement. They were so close, he could feel it.
