I was just a kid

The raid that he'd participated in against the pirate pack had admittedly bruised Veigar's ego. Though his first fight had gone well enough his second had left him feeling worse for wear. Though he couldn't quite see the scar his opponent had inflicted upon his shoulder he knew it was there, judging by how long it was taking to heal. He was even more frustrated with how Aryn had fared. He was supposed to be the one protecting her now that he was grown, not the other way around - even with his fading sight. He was determined to put up even more of a fight next time.
But to make that happen he knew he needed to work on his fighting skills, against whoever would give him the time of day. Standing in the middle of the redbud forest he tipped his head back and let loose a call for an opponent. It'd be a friendly spar, sure, but it'd give him time to focus on his tactics now that he knew he couldn't rely on his sight during fights, at least not very much. He was too sore to get into it with a stranger right now, so a packmate was the next best option, even if it meant the stakes were low.

Veigar is completely blind; his eyes are a hazy shade of pale yellow, though he tries his best to hide this fact.
His saliva also glows a faint shade of neon green since the Ooze event.
