Gossamer skidded to a stop, wincing at the familiar voice. For fucks sake… she turned to face the old pirate woman who seemed dead set on harassing her til one or both of them met a terrible end. She set her defenses and moved between Ásta and the pirate. "This is getting old and boring. Go harass someone else. And Ásta's ears aren't nearly as freaky as your old, decrepit ones. I'm amazed they haven't hopped off your head in shame. Now piss off before I thrash you into the ground… again." Gossamer felt more confident since acheiving victory over the old pirate, especially in front of her friends and family though she was still wary of the crafty old snake. Maybe she'd get lucky and the old bat would just shoot a few more insults then leave.
