Another entered the scene and Azure’s adrenaline enthusiastically spiked. So he might not be able to take home a new bundle of joy to his mate, but Hana had sent him here for vengeance, not for an adoption. It was not just Sparrow who had tortured Hanako while she was captive here, and so it was only reasonable that Hana’s revenge would not be complete until he’d punished as many culpable individuals as possible. It was unfortunate that he did not know the names of each pirate to tell the story later, but he memorized the man’s face to describe to his mate once he arrived back at home.
Azure scoffed as the pirate echoed back Sparrow’s claim at poisoning. “Poisoned with what? Infants?! Are all you pirates too stupid to recognize pregnancy when it’s literally looking you in the snout?” The colorful man attacked, Azure moved to meet him. Reaching up first with his powerful limbs in an attempt to subdue and restrain him with a grapple, Azure moved to take off the second eartip of the evening.
