Forging A New Path

It had been...a long time since her pack had been taken. She hadn't seen hide nor hair of her traitorous crimson cousin, nor did she want to see him anytime soon. She had done her best to forget all of that. How she had failed her father. But as she approached Valhalla's borders, the memories would resurface. Ignis and her failure at defending what her father had built was the reason she was even her in the first place. She still felt a sinking feeling in her chest when she thought of her father. He had passed away some time ago, but she still missed him. Perhaps she always would no matter what. Maybe that was just how life and the healing process worked...she wasn't sure.

She took a deep breath to steady her nerves. She had been...running with a band of nomadic rogues for some time now, but she was ready to insert herself back into normal, stable pack life. Hopefully, Valhalla was somewhere she could fit in...or at the very least, she'd let fate run its course.
