Tyto took the brunt of the attack with bony part of his own shoulder. It would hurt later, likely bruise a bit for both of them, but there would be no severe damage done to either of them. That was what she would prefer - a spar to test their limits a little, but avoid breaking skin if she could. Not every fight would be so casual though, Ngurulivu knew, and she was also trying to be mindful of the fact that the man had companions of his own. Splatter was still in the skies though, and she figured he’d give a warning cry or something if the lynx tried to attack her from behind. Though this was a spar, and she didn’t expect anything serious to come out of it. She might not have known Tyto prior, but she didn’t have a reason to lash out at the man or think anything more of him than a potential friend. His teeth managed to grip the lower portion of her neck and a light growl, a reaction to his hold and the discomfort from it, escaped her lips. Her claws dug into the soil, making sure not to let his gip potentially compromise her balance, while she was going to seek to compromise his. He was a bit taller than she was but she was heavier, and she made the attempt to use her heavier weight in a pulling, yanking motion as she twisted her head. It was made more uncomfortable to his hold but she fought against it all the same, even trying to lift her right foreleg off the ground to hook it over his back and wrestle him to the ground. Their close quarters would make going much of anywhere difficult, but if she could she was going to try and wrestle Tyto to the ground. "Talk, 'Think.' |
