The promise that Audra would look at him soon, once she had the time, was a small reassurance. Sometime soon. Beauregard did his best to relax at the alpha woman’s words. She didn’t know for certain how things were going to turn out, but the way Wren described it certainly sounded like reasonable, although wishful thinking. Beau decided that was likely the best course for Tan, to become whole with all those personalities meshing together inside him as one, full wolf. He gave a small nod. “I hope you’re right. I don’t… like the idea that anyone might suffer as he does.” Beauregard admitted. “With the exception of how Mika was when we first interacted he’s been okay to be around. I don’t mind it at all.” He furrowed his brow. What were they going to do if Tanelan couldn’t become whole though? Would Beau spend his whole life watching after the other? Surely Wren wouldn’t deem him a danger to the pack and kick him out? The uncertain future caused him to give a small sigh. “I just wish I could do more. I hate seeing a packmate like this.” Beauregard’s gaze fell toward his paws. “I know not everything is light and purity… but feeling helpless, doing little more than watching, waiting, and reporting… I want to do more, Wren… there has to be something more I can do to help.” He lifted his gaze back to her. “Tell me what I can do to help him. To help Menagerie…” His ears fell. Was he doing enough? Was there something more he could be doing? He hated this feeling of doubt. It wasn’t like him to falter and yet… "Speech," 'Thought.' |
