Although Widow wasn't the most talkative of the pack, she knew Veigar from when they were younger. She didn't keep up with anyone else then, but now as she aged she felt she should at least know who was who. It wasn't easy for her to forget a name once she learned it, so while the boys voice may have been unfamiliar to her, his face certainly was not. She remembered he had trouble seeing, though she wasn't sure why. Was it like mom, or was it different? While she was definitely the type to poke and pry for knowledge, not while her interviewee was charging towards her with the intend of sinking fangs into flesh. She braced herself for the collision, dexterous toes and sharpened claws digging into the ground of the nook for balance.

He came at her left side, reaching with open jaws to grab at her shoulder though she was quick to drop her left shoulder to not only avoid the teeth coming for her, but also to use the point of her scapula to combat his weight that he threw into her. Her neck whipped around in the same moment her shoulder dropped, straining and reaching for the young man's rear left heel. Matching bandages?!
