Healing or causing wounds today

Kotori had to give up his bite into the back leg when the bear swung a paw at him.  That really was no surprise, it wasn’t like the bear was going to stand around and let itself be killed.  However, the bear ended up having to deal with Tove as she charged back in for its neck.  

Kotori decided to help Tove get a good opening.  Leaping onto the bear, his neck lunged forward to grab the top of the bear’s neck, yanking and tugging to try and make the bear raise its head up and help give Tove that much better of an opening.  The bear resisted, it really wanted to focus on the threat from below.

That also worked.  Kotori’s teeth tore off a chunk of skin on the neck, then deeper down, biting into the tender muscles and the bear had no choice but to try and shake Kotori off even as it tried desperately to turn away from Tove.  Now it seemed to finally realize it should have ran.  It was far too late now.
