Lilah Sakah
An indignation fueled snarl ripped from dark satin lips.
She hadn’t needed anyone coming to her rescue, especially not that of a man out to achieve his good deed of the day star. She was no damsel in distress. Quickly propelling herself forward, every fiber of her being was intent upon proving that simple fact.
Lilah’s attention was upon the bear now, not the other wolf, however her gaze would flick his way every once in a while. It was as if he hadn’t noticed her at all, or had paid very little mind to her presence in its entirety. It was then that she realized that his attendance had very little to do with her. He had pursued this gargantuan creature previously, and she had only created an opening for the assault.
Just as she had done however, he would return the favor. When the bear reeled around to confront him, it presented itself to the viper, exposed and vulnerable. It was the only invitation she’d need. Like a serpent, she’d strike hard and fast.
Driven by the power of her aching jaws, Lilah thrusted herself upon the bear’s back and latched onto one of its short, club shaped ears. A violent jerking of her head aimed to tear the appendage off, but a good amount of blood leaking into the bears eyes would have been just as beneficial. The beast’s shoulders rolled beneath her as it bucked and bellowed with rage. Unaware if it was about to rear up or drop forward and roll, she quickly scrambled off, raking her claws down into its side as she did so. Her body was lighter now, more agile from the usual amounts of sustenance that she had been accustomed to. The sensation was odd yet somewhat satisfying as the woman landed on the opposite side of the bear, across from her new found ally. She skirted away hastily and rounded herself awaiting the blowback if the other man didn’t seize the opportunity to attack.
"The Viper is speaking."
