Through the heckling, the snide comments, the ones who had absolutely no clue why Ghoul had done what he did, the boy was still pleased. Even as the midget attempted to dip out of the way from his meaty paw, Ghoul had struck gold. On the side opposite that atrocious facial marking, he felt his powerful strike land a single deep gash across the other minuscule boy's eye. Bad enough that it would scar and unfortunately look like one of those cliche anime scars. (Kakashi, am I right?) In the same motion, he felt the lil' bean's paw swipe across his own cheek which would leave minor injury.
Once his paws were firmly back on the ground, he gave the pipsqueak his own boyish grin. "Until next time, shorty," winking one ruby eye as he reached out a paw to pat the short stack on the shoulder, this time in a friendly manner, Ghoul turned away. He wouldn't deny that he finally felt triumphant over the tike. Was it childish? Sure. Did he care? Not really. Honestly, now that they were even, he could see them being cohorts in a way. Always keeping each other on their toes and fresh with new fighting techniques.
Without another word, he started to head back toward his siblings. Blind to the scuffles happening around him and finally bringing his attention back toward the battle his mother was entangled in, he noticed his sibling's stares. Even Viscera decided to show up which was impressive in itself. Tilting his head slightly, he looked at the group curiously. "What I do?" He asked nonchalantly with one brow raised.
