Only the best is good enough

Kotori made his way to the battlefield terrain, looking about the area with mild interest.  In the armada, there were plenty of wolves to fight but he had left the armada.  Staying in top shape was important.  What sort of alpha would he be if Kotori let his training slide in the least?

Kotori howled, calling a challenge to any who wished to test their strength against him.  The Fatalis would not go down easy, he had a reputation to protect and a name to make for himself.  Kotori remained standing after howling for an opponent.  Patiently he remained where he was, waiting.  Whoever came better be a worthy match.  Sometimes puppies would show up here and that wouldn’t do in Kotori’s mind.  He wanted a challenger right now, not a student.

 Well, unless he felt it was worthy of joining his pack.  What good was a child at this stage though? He needed masters of their crafts to help form the pack the horned wolf had in his mind.
