Tale Weaver Feast

Together, the pack worked to set up various temporary dens, tents and bonfires. The invitation had specifically stated that the storytelling would start in the evening. Chimera wouldn't expect anyone to make the trek back to their own lands so late, so he assumed that many would choose to stay the night. The area for the storytelling would be evident, however. A wide fire pit was lined with stones and wood had been burning all day to produce low flames with red hot coals. Furs and cushions were situated in the soft grass around the inviting fire.

That wasn't all that there was to this little festival, however. What kind of host would Fenmyre be without providing sustenance for their guests? The hunters of the island had been hard at work, procuring fresh meat for the gathering. a covered pavilion had been set up specifically for the feast. There were cooked meats, honeyed fruits, various types of mead, fish, seafood, vegetation... everything that could be asked for. The island mastiffs moved through, replenishing dishes as they were emptied. It seemed as though the bounty was endless.

Chimera stood and nodded to his guests. "Eat your fill and be welcome in my home," the brutes rich baritones rumbled forth. "The stories will come after we've dined and once night takes hold of the land. For now, relax, mingle, enjoy." With that, the tri-color brute's haunches folded and he seated himself once more.
