Fighting Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have... Right?

When she noticed the pack of dogs hesitate and linger on the fringes around them she stepped a bit closer to Strix, her own lips pulling back into a snarl as she followed suit and went to intimidate them as best as the smaller boy and the soft, feminine girl could manage. Their growls and the proof they had already given that they could handle themselves seemed to finally send a message and the remaining bloodied, beaten wild dogs finally took off, disappearing into the woods. She figured they were probably unlikely to come back after an attack like that, but if they did they'd be ready for them! As soon as the coast was clear she turned to Strix with a wide grin, saying, "We did it!" Giggling, she swiped her tongue over her muzzle to clean away some of the blood that had gotten caught there before tipping her head down to swipe a lick over his cheek to do the same for him. "Lets head back! We gotta tell dad! .... Maybe don't tell our moms though." She grinned and gave him a wink before trotting back toward the island, eager and happy about how their day had gone.
