Their little spiel with the waves, washing ashore the Mangrove... It was enough. For now. Not keen to go anywhere near water, but finding themselves here anyway... Ugh. Island hopping aside, there was not much here to do. Under the night sky, Bex felt terribly bored. They groaned dramatically, placing a paw on their brow. They lay on their back, staring at the open sea of stars. This place would have to do for the night, sleep-wise. An open area was not an ideal location though. Bex attempted to find a secluded little slice big enough to house their body, so if they rolled over they would not drown. They did not trust themselves to wake up when the waves hit. They were also quite weary but would stay awake if they had company. Alas, they did not see any. "Ugh." They said again, this time a bit louder than intended. They felt the urge to shout and scream and throw shit. Why? Because it was fun. Because it was needed. But they did not see anything to throw... Except for a rock. Bex scrambled to all fours, lining themselves up with the medium-sized pebble. A limb arched, sharply smacking the rock with a paw. The rock flew across the Delta, landing with a thud on another island. Not bad. Not bad at all. The young one whooped a bit, bouncing around in excitement. Over a rock. "Ah..." They composed themselves - in case anyone saw such an unsightly display! 1/3 - explore new land (kamui delta) |
