Silver Island

Sota very nearly found himself doubting why he'd decided to tag along, but by the time his little limbs carried him up onto the shores of this unfamiliar island, he decided he was quite glad he'd made the journey. While he was used to climbing he was much less familiar with swimming, and by the time they landed ashore he was feeling the slight fatigue in his limbs, though it wasn't bad enough to prevent him from exploring. The sand beneath his paws was soft and warm as they headed up from the shore and the scenery that stretched out in front of him was breathtaking, to say the very least.

A grin touched his lips as he scanned the area, taking in the sights. The forest up ahead was lush and full of life, from the plants that covered the forest floor to the birds that flitted above, dancing from one tree to the next. For a moment he wished his new lemur friend was with him to explore these unfamiliar lands but he'd left him home in the castle to rest, certain he wouldn't have enjoyed the swim. At least he wasn't exploring this place alone - he was grateful Artorias had asked him to join along. "Shall we?" He cast his glance to his friend as he continued to trek up the shore, giving his coat a little shake to rid it of accumulated water before they really got started exploring.
