The feeling of racing was something foreign almost. Torben hadn't expected a full festival around it, to be frank. Jynn had done a good job organizing. He'd have to thank the woman later. Focus on Audra as she took off like a speeding bullet, he did his best to keep up with her. Her vow to not go easy on him almost - almost! - made him lag behind on purpose. But that wouldn't be fair to her. His legs stretched for the first time in ages. Audra's yipping caused him to laugh, chasing after her with a feeling of joy. Felt good to run, even if he was terribly sore from the effort already. "Gonna get ya!" he cawed behind the smaller wolf, trying to gain on her. His paws felt heavy and weighed, thumping with each step. Torben had a hard time not slipping on the slick grass. Oh boy. |
