long walks through dragon's blood
eden, ares, artisan

Gilgamesh wondered if Sparrow enjoyed causing him pain. While the idea of scouting other packs for raids was a splendid idea, he wasn't exactly roaring to walk anywhere anytime soon. Likewise, he wouldn't miss his chance at helping the pack out and wounding his own pride. The north would've been more appealing in his mind (no reason for visiting the Armada at all), but he took his small group south nonetheless. He would have taken them east, but with Abaven abolished and having just recently raided Habari (who also was now on the rocks with a challenge??), it left Ashen to the east.
While the Empress led pack was enticing as he hadn't much interaction with their quiet group, Gil's thirst for revenge beat out his curiosity. So with Eden, Ares, and Artisan in tow, he took them south of Boreas, over the Bifrost, and into Auster territory. Having requested Eden bandage up his still-healing limb as tightly as she could, the lanky man hobbled along at as steady of a pace as he could manage. Skirting around Hallows and Fenmyre lands, Gil wondered when their scents expanded past the plains and dam. Noting the discovery so that he could bring it back to Sparrow, he continued escorting them farther south.
Without revealing his intentions of who they were going to scout, Gil could feel the hunger gnaw away at his belly. The last time he had been down this far south had been with Pyralis to cause some trouble. Light-hearted, fun trouble, mind you. Taking their time and pausing frequently, he could finally begin to scent the pack in question as they traveled through Dragon's Blood Grove. Almost a wasteland of bare trees and red dirt, Gil paid no mind to their surroundings until tall, green stalks began to pop up along the territory's edge. Bamboo that grew tightly together and hid the wolves that lived within, Gil paused at the border.
Sticking to a grassy area in the middle of a clump of dragon's blood trees, Gil looked at the group. "For any who do not know, the bamboo houses Hattori's pack, Tojo-kai. The same man who used to rule beside Venom in Ashen. We're here to scout for some intel on what they could be hiding in there," he finally turned his yellow eyes toward the entrance that lay not far off. They would have to be careful and stick to the shadows of the grove so none of their patrol wolves could scent them out. "Do any of you have any ideas of what we should do before I take the lead?" Gil asked, one ear flicking in the direction of his group. Might as well let them put in some participation points.
