Warrior's Call!
Open spar or recruitment!
ooc. Assuming this is happening in the day time, which is gonna be fun for Vis! Restlessness had kept him awake even though the sun was still up. So when he heard the distant summons of someone on the battlefield calling for an opponent to spar with, he sighed and hauled himself to his paws. The den was quiet, Ichor was snoozing away in his pile of half rotted furs. So he dragged his companions out of their slumber as well to join him for a little brawl. Slender limbs drew the wraith towards the battlefield through whatever shadows he could find, trying to avoid the wrath of the sun on his pale skin. By the time he'd reached the broad, open plain where bloodshed was more of a requirement than a potential risk, he was already beginning to feel the subtle heat along his back that warned he would be sun burnt soon if he didn't turn back. Yet... he wanted to fight. Half blinded by the sun in his cherry red eye, he picked his way across the battlefield towards his opponent. She was massive, even by his standards. Blue as a twilight sky, with a similar smattering of pale markings along her body that mimicked the night sky. He flashed a grin her way. "Loser owes the winner a meal?" he offered the change of stakes with a raised brow as he lowered his head level with his shoulders. Before she got the chance to really argue that one, he launched forwards. Despite being a sneaky kind of guy, he really did love a head on assault in a spar. So charging her head on just seemed like the most fun. He'd left about five feet of distance between them, and his feline companion hung back while he made his move. The vampire bat that usually clung to his ruff was forced into the air to keep an eye out on the proceedings, albeit very begrudgingly. Since she was a fair bit bigger, tackling her seemed out of the question. He tried to feint left, keeping the fae to his right where he could actually see her movements. The svelte youth sought to hook his right forepaw, around her upper left forelimb just below the elbow. Perhaps he could drag her off balance, or the sharp talons on his paws would score through her flesh and leave her with a bit of a limp for the rest of their fight.
