They traveled as a group toward the northern area of Boreas. Keen on feeling the breath of a cold chill once more, Tenshi had not hesitated to agree to attend. Even if she had hoped Hanzo would come with, it made sense that someone stay back to protect the bamboo. On their way there, Tenshi veered off with Sayuri toward the battlefield. One more round to help shake off the nerves of meeting new wolves, Tenshi was eager to see the other woman's skills. They both had been taking their time to train and learn new methods. Curious, Tenshi faced Sayuri directly. Watching the smaller woman unsheathe her blade, Tenshi noticed a different scent than normal. Almost odorless, but from the glint of the blade, she wondered if Sayuri was dealing with poisons now. Common among wolves of their culture, a small smile was placed on her lips. Spreading her paws and digging her toes into the dirt, she readied herself for the challenge. Steel blues watched the koi woman carefully as she assessed what direction she would take. Beside her, her snow leopards waited patiently with tails flicking back and forth. Ready to begin, Tenshi kept her distance at first. Quickly grabbed a throwing star from the shoulder strap around her leg, she tossed it effortlessly in Sayuri's direction. Aiming for the dirt at Sayuri's paws to distract and throw her off, Tenshi dove in. Skirting to her right, Sayuri's left, Tenshi reached a tucked muzzle toward Sayuri's scruff. Aiming to grab and tug before letting go and placing distance between them once, she kept light on her paws.
