Considering options

It looked like Elysium had fully claimed the firefly lake.  Kotori roamed through the rustling thicket deciding how he felt about the location.  There would come a day he could spread out her pack land but would he really want this location?  There was prey here but there were reasons to let this spot remain wild.  It would be an area with the scent of neither wolf pack officially claiming it which should let more prey feel safe.  

The area would be pinned between Elysium, Valta, and Habari while cutting off other packs or loners from likely visiting it.  That was still three packs to share the land but otherwise, it would them one less area to find an ample supply of food.  The brush would have to be frequently kept cleared out of the area wolves wanted as open paths or spots to gather and yet not overly destroyed so that all the prey left.  Most likely this would be left and he’d look south of the rapids.  This was all assuming no one else came to lay claim to the rapids.

Birds fluttered about the branches.  It would be a smaller meal than what he normally preferred hunting but perhaps a good idea regardless.  Kotori had no need for a  large meal and while he was healing the injuries along the head still became more sensitive when moving fast or tensing the muscles overly.
