Considering options

Kotori’s attention shifted from the brush to Vanille as she approached.  She was small, with a light build, and had a lot of blue to her.  She didn’t seem concerned with who he was and was offering assistance. Was this Arc’s friend that had been mentioned or perhaps a member of Elysium that already knew of his presence and plans?  The smell of Elysium was on her so it was most likely one or the other.

“Hello,” Kotori nodded with formal politeness to Vanille, “I’m intending to claim the rapids,” a nod of his head in their general direction.  “Once I have good control of the land I intend to try and broaden my borders.  I’m deciding on which direction I plan to grow the future pack.  Valta.”  

“Arcturus mentioned a friend of his that would be joining.  By any chance, would that be you?” Generally, you don’t go around asking every wolf in a pack if they are one specific wolf but she was here and offering help so might as well.  Kotori didn’t exactly do a lot of small talk over pointless matters.
