Rexx was growing bigger each day. Granted, he wouldn't quite reach the height of most of his siblings - however, his muscle and bulk more than made up for it. Being a little smaller meant nothing to him, not with the slowly growing crystal spines that went down his back in two rows, or the curled warthog-like tusks that were making their way up from his jaw. He considered himself a fairly formidable opponent, and his mutations would only get taller, thicker and sharper as he matured. Right now they were fairly stubby, but they'd be downright lethal as an adult if he made a hard enough hit. But for now, everything was child's play. His tusks were still nubby at the tip, his crystal spines a little sharper but able to do nothing more than a pinprick. The boy lumbered across the beach, roped muscle already beginning to make itself seen beneath all the puppy fat and downy fur. He was Gilgamesh's son, it was irrefutable in his appearance. His head and neck were enrobed in oblivion, his purple eyes standing out all the more as his liver lips twisting into a tusked grin. A smirk crossed his maw as he found a good spot in the sand - not too soft, not too hard, and perfect for a good puppy spar. With that, Rexx tilted his head back and called for an opponent, voice still creaky and not yet achieving his father's rumbling timbres. But he'd get there. Someday. |
